Small / Light Parts
D&H Industries metal stamps and deep draws a variety of small and mid-sized parts annually. Our punch presses range from 32 ton to 800 ton and are equipped to run coil-fed materials at speeds up to 140 strokes per minute. Small precision metal stamped parts can be smaller than a dime in size and as thin as .005-inch thickness. Ideally, small or light metal stamped parts run in quantities of 10,000 to 1,000,000 pieces per year.
Tooling methodology for small parts is addressed on a case by case basis, based on the design of these small deep drawn or stamped parts. Depending on the required applications and quantity, the recommended tooling solution may be compound dies, progressive tooling, or deep drawn.
Through the utilization of die sensing monitors, our small precision parts are manufactured to our customers’ exacting specifications.
